Bryan Kerney grew up in the Central Valley of California. He completed his undergraduate studies at Fresno State University and earned his law degree at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He was admitted to the California State Bar in November 2000.

For many years Mr. Kerney was a name partner in the Monterey lawfirm, Fisher Kerney, where he concentrated his practice in civil litigation in both state and federal courts. Mr. Kerney litigated matters involving construction defects, insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, corporate law, business law, products liability, employment law and personal injury. In 2021, he merged his practice with Hirsch Closson where he continues to maintain a thriving litigation practice.

Mr. Kerney has gained considerable trial and appellate experience, particularly in complex construction defect and personal injury matters, trying cases to verdict in both State and Federal Court.
